About the Program
The USAID Farmer-to-Farmer (F2F) program operates in many countries, including:
- Southern Africa: The CNFA (Cooperative National Farmer Association) implemented the program in Madagascar, Malawi, Mozambique, Zambia, and Zimbabwe from 2008 to 2018. The program’s goals were to increase agricultural productivity and profitability, improve conservation, and expand access to financial services.
- Central Asia and Caucasus: The ACDI/VOCA implemented the program in Georgia, Armenia, and the Kyrgyz Republic.
- East Africa and Asia: The Catholic Relief Services (CRS) implemented the program in Ethiopia, Uganda, Nepal, and Timor-Leste.
- Kenya, Tanzania, and Liberia: The IESC implemented the F2F Access to Finance Program (F2F A2F).
- West Africa: The ACDI/VOCA implemented the program in Ghana, Liberia, Senegal, and DRC.
The F2F program’s volunteers provide hands-on training to communities, cooperatives, agribusinesses, and educational institutions. They work with farmers to improve productivity, access new markets, and conserve natural resources.
